Gesher

Kadima’s Gesher (Transitional Kindergarten) class is designed for four and five year old children — typically with fall and early winter birthdays — or those who could benefit socially, emotionally, physically and/or academically, with an extra year of preparation before entering Kindergarten.

Gesher students are challenged to stretch themselves in a program that emphasizes pre-math, reading, and writing skills. While the goals are similar to Kindergarten, children work at a modified pace with a low child to teacher ratio where they are provided with extra care and attention.
